Some ideas for extra practice or enrichment
1 Because this lesson involves music, give the students extra listening practice by playing an English song for them. While listening to the song, have them write down as many words as they can hear. Tell them that this includes words like and, a, but, etc. Play the tape one or two more times to let them listen to the song again. Then ask the students for all the words they heard. Write the words on the Bb. This encourages the students because they can see all the English words they did actually hear. This physically shows them that they are making progress in their English listening.
2 In small groups of about 6, ask the students to write their own song. It doesn‘t have to be serious, but can be silly. Then have them practise the song and sing it for the class. Vote to see which song the students like best. Then have the group teach the whole class their song.
